Susan Tinnon was named VP, Human Resources of Kimble Chase in August 2007.
 Prior to joining Kimble Chase, Susan held increasing responsibilities at several multi-national corporations. Most recently, she served as Director of Human Resources, Laboratory Products Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific (NYSE: TMO), where she was responsible for supporting the worldwide manufacturing, finance, marketing and support organizations.
At Thermo Fisher, and previously at Thermo Electron, Susan was also closely involved in the integration of the Fisher Scientific and Kendro Laboratory Products acquisitions.
Earlier in her career, Susan held positions in Human Resource Management with Behr Heat Transfer Systems, where she led the consolidation of manufacturing sites following a key divestiture, and with Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE: EMN). While at Eastman, Susan provided support to the Global Business Development group responsible for identifying and developing new M&A activity. In addition to these responsibilities, Susan also designed the company’s first Diversity Programs, successfully leading the organization to being recognized as a “100 Best U.S. Companies for Working Mothers” by Working Mother magazine. Her expertise in performance management was demonstrated in the design and implementation of Eastman’s best practices Business Management Institute and Eastman’s Corporate University.
Susan graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S. in English and Secondary Education and later with an M.Ed, with an emphasis in Human Resource Development. She completed the Harvard University Institute for the Management of Lifelong Education and is certified by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Professionally, Susan has held numerous key leadership roles in the ASTD and SHRM organizations at the local and state level.
